Awards/Certifications

After earning my Chemical Engineering degree and working in the oil industry for over 20 years, I am now pursuing the Elite Cruise Counselor certification from CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) in order to provide the best advice to my clients dreaming of a fabulous cruising experience. I am a registered member of CLIA and Certified Specialist in several cruise lines including, Norwegian Cruise, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Azamara, Viking River Cruises.

My Travel Adventures

I just designed a 14-day road trip vacation through Spain and Portugal for three couples (myself included). We start in Barcelona head to San Sebastian, Santiago de Compostela and end in Lisbon. I have visited most of the route and know the area well, which helps me select hotels and places to visit.

I have visited over 200 cities in more than 60 countries through the Americas and Europe.

The Caribbean is my swimming pool where I enjoy scuba diving, windsurfing and sailing.

But the mountains! Skiing and hiking are also a passion of mine, particularly in the North American Rockies and the Alps in Europe, including hiking around the Mont Blanc.

In my bucket list is to visit all the U.S. National Parks. Thus far I have visited Grand Canyon, Glacier, Glacier Bay, Kenai Fjords, Rocky Mountain, Mesa Verde, Colorado Great Sand Dunes and Gunnison Black Canyon, Everglades, Mammoth Cave and Big Bend. Obviously several very big spots are missing but not for long.

My cruising experience includes the Baltic, the Mediterranean, around the southern tip of South America, Alaska and a river cruise along the Rhine.
